Customer Story

The Immigrant Employment Council of BC (IEC-BC) is a not-for-profit organization - Founded by IRCC and Provincial Government - that provides BC employers with solutions, tools and resources they need to attract, hire and retain qualified immigrant talent. We believe that the successful integration of skilled newcomers into the BC labour force is critical to both their success and the province’s long-term economic performance. We work with employers, government, and other partner stakeholders to ensure that BC employers can effectively integrate global talent. Every year, we celebrate our annual Employer Recognition Event to celebrate and recognize outstanding employers and individuals. We also aim to provide actionable insights into the immigration environment and workforce trends. Getting together is also a fantastic opportunity for networking and collaboration among BC’s employers, government representatives, and community leaders. For 2025 we gave 3 awards to: Sheh Shojaee (invidual), Nubel Technologies and BC Hydro.
